8 Must-read Books!
When we somehow discover a book that really touches us, it is as if we have discovered the most precious of treasures.
Sometimes we discover them at random, in the family library, and sometimes, it is a friend who recommends them to us. Today we are going to be that friend and fill your arms with books.
Everyone has their own tastes, of course, but there are books that hardly go unnoticed by anyone. Here is a list to keep in mind!
1. Man in search of meaning. Psychiatrist Viktor Frankl himself suffered the horror of Nazi concentration camps. He drew strength by thinking of his relatives, interned in other camps, who would be waiting for him at the end of the war, when the horror ceased.
Unfortunately, this never happened. His relatives all died in the camps, but in the face of this catastrophe, Frankl found new strength to make sense of his life: Telling his story and developing a theory to help those in difficulty. Without a doubt, this book is a lesson in life, which we should all read.
2. Sidharta by Herman Hesse. Herman Hesse has become a benchmark for young people of his generation and subsequent generations.
In this book he recounts the journey which leads Sidharta in search of wisdom, and although he does not directly describe the life of Buddha, the account is undoubtedly inspired by it.

3. The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. A book sold in more than 10 countries. This is a character who walks, far from his home, in search of treasure. His journey is fueled by adventures and misadventures. It is back home that the character finally finds his treasure… A book to make us think about what we have and are looking for.
4. Le Monde de Sophie by Jostein Gaarder. Philosophy and psychology are undoubtedly linked. For all lovers of philosophy, Gaarder offers a journey through the history of philosophy, told to a little girl, Sophie, by a philosopher who teaches her about life through the philosophical prism.
This is a bestseller that quickly became required reading in schools and helps us shape ourselves a bit more as a whole person.
5. Golemann’s Emotional Intelligence. Since Golemann released his book in 1995, we’ve heard about emotional intelligence over and over again.
This book is a necessary basis for understanding yourself, understanding others better and learning with and through our emotions. Without a doubt, it will make you think about your emotional intelligence capacity and your means to increase it in order to be happier, and to start to see things from a new angle.
